Is it One Cadillac Pulling Two, or Two Cadillacs Pulling One!?!

I had to swap Cadillacs today to get the 1964 Cadillac Parts car on the Car Hauler to finish up, however, there was a 1963 Parts car that had to be removed first and needed to have the 63 end up where the 64 had been parked. I ended up chaining the 64 to the car hauler to be able to pull it out and get it over in the center, so I could deposit the 63 over on the right and go back and load the 64! Phew! A lot of work this morning. I think I'm going in and watch some Star Trek now! LOL

Which 63 coupe? I just parted a 1964 Coupe DeVille (6357) which will have the same core doors as the 1963 Series 62 (6257) and Coupe DeVille (6357) door.  My going price is $75 for nice solid core 62/63 series sedan doors, and $100 for nice core 62/63 series coupe doors. If interested in a coupe door email me at jasonedge@nc.rr.com with ship to address.  If you need anything other than the core door (eg. hinges, trim, glass, regulator/motor, channels, guides, locks, handles, latches, etc) I need details.

Hoods no, core doors yes. Email me at jasonedge@nc.rr.com with ship to address.  If you need anything other than the core door I will need specifics.  For the hood I can put you on the wait list but need to consider shipping of you are located any distance from North Carolina.

With Dropcams pointed at the garage and house recording to the cloud 24/7, I thought it would be cool to do a 1 minute time lapse of my 2 hr effort of moving the 63 and 64 Caddys around with the Escalade this morning.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Vintage Air AC

Posted by Chase on March 21, 2024 at 5:55am 0 Comments

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

accumulator dryer

Posted by CHRIS CARLSON on December 6, 2023 at 10:54am 0 Comments

Who rebuilds original AC  accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year ,  There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A    What  is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
