I had posted this on my Facebook Page but for the non-FBers out there, I thought I would share.

Here's what I look like after a full day of breaking down a parts car! Cheryl came out and snapped a few picture of me in my greasy glory! This is parts car #45, which was making room for parts car #46, another 1964 Sedan de Ville..   You can check out more pictures by Clicking Here.

I remember when steel was high, and I got 250 for a 64 limo carcass.    Now the last stripped car I brought, I got 40 bucks.

I get $4 / 100 lb.
Was about $12 once.

You could make a pretty awesome couch out of that trunk. Let me know next time you're done with your parts car. I'll buy the rear quarter panels. Mine are Swiss cheese.

Chris, lip on top edge on this last one was rotted but most of the qtr panels were good. The next parts car seems to have some excellent (are at least good) panels and would be a good donor.  I'll post some info on the next parts car but have to say it is loaded with options from bucket seats, to power vents, cruise, guidematic, am/fm, etc. and will savor this one a bit as it is a great example of these options. In fact I didn't get a key for the trunk but seller said he just opens it from the glove box button when we were negotiating and thought... OK... power trunk!

Sounds like it was loaded with options. Is it a coupe? I know bucket seats on the four doors were pretty rare and built differently if I recall.

64-6339 Sedan with the stiff uprights on the bucket seats! Check out the Body Plate:

Oh yeah, front and rear seat belts!

And it runs as is! I can drive it around the yard! First time in a long time I have been able to drive a car up onto and off the car hauler! I've been known to have some fun in the snow with these in the past! LOL I will start pulling some things off in the coming weeks but will keep this one moving and mobile for some time. OK.. spilling all the beans here about the car. I will post some pics, etc. later. I've still go to get the rear end disassembled, doors dismantled and a few more parts put up from last parts car!

That's really cool! Not too often that you find four door cars with buckets. Can't wait to see this one.

Oh yeah... this car has tilt column, power door locks. Just a few items it doesn't have!  I know the LH 4 way bucket and RH 2 way bucket seat wiring, switches, and switch panels are going to be of keen interest to a few I have had on my Wait List for some time now!

I think the 4 window sedans with buckets is a cool idea. Not sure if I posted it way somewhere, but I have brought in 4 or 5 bucket seat cars in the last 20 years.... all where coupes/convertibles except 1 sedan, so this makes my 2nd sedan bucket seat car.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
