seat foam replacement

does anyone out there have any experience with seat foam replacement on  a 63/64 Cadillac.  I had my seats reupolstered  many years ago in original leather/fabric and they still look great, but the foam/padding underneath has degradated and compressed to the point the seats look misshapend and are not real supportive when sitting on them.  I have looked around for replacement foam and padding specific to my 64CDV but does not appear that anyone manufactures anything.  Does anyone have…See More

"Jason,  This is AWESOME!  In fact, going forward, anytime anyone asks about driveline vibration, I’d almost always suggest this be the first thing they check.  When you sold me the used transmission, I bought a new rear mount.…"

Dino Diaries - July 11, 2025 - Busted!

So I am starting to crawl around under Dino seeing what I can fix or upgrade and as I was putting the trans linkage in a few nights ago, the rear trans mount caught my eye. I remembered that these 64 THM rear mounts should lift the rear up a bit but it sure looked flat. I had a sneaky suspicion the rear mount was flattened or busted.  The thing about the rear mount is it can affect the driveline angle and cause vibration, so it does more than just support the transmission.Last night I rolled…See More

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
