Can you provide details on the rebuild & upgrade. Does it now have bluetooth & all the bells & whistles?

Hi Kurt,

Yes, it has bluetooth with an external mic for hands free phone use, subwoofer out jacks, aux input...all the bells and whistles.   It was a bit pricey.  With shipping and tax it was $800 (Don't tell my wife, she'll have my head! ;-)

I had it done at R & B Vintage Radio in Juliet, Tennessee.  There are several different packages available.  Richard is the owner.  Here's the website link:   https://www.randbvintageradio.com/

Mike,

     You deserve it!!!!

Very nice. I've heard about those upgrades. After you test drive it a while, let us know how you like it. I need to upgrade the stereo in mine. I have a Secret Audio in mine but it is now 20 years old and obsolete. I left the original AM radio installed in the dash. It still controlls the power antenna.

Hiding the price from your wife reminds of a joke I heard: This man tells his friend "If I happen to die unexpectedly, don't let my wife sell these parts for what I told her I paid for them" LOL

I ran the new upgraded radio wiring today. The original harness won’t work, except for the power antenna. Now on to new dash paint and new chrome!

It looks great Mike.  A lot of work, but well worth it!

Looks great, I may do that to mine.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
