I am replacing my heater hoses and was wondering if anyone has found a replacement for the 1479723. Its the 3/4" hose that goes from the heater core to the pipe running under the intake. Thanks

This is for a 64 Deville

I have tried to use a hunk of 3/4" off the roll but it starts to kink when bent in the small area. The hose that I removed was molded. It had the mold close enough to work but no part number left on it. The original part number 1479673 is no long any good but was looking for a conversion to a newer part number of a hose that is close enough to work without kinking.

Thanks good advice

Anyone have a good replacment # for Larry? I have replacement #'s for all the other hoses but would like to have a couple for this one. So, if you have a replacement # give us a shout. (Yes, I know we can all march to the auto store and have some one match one up, but we are looking for someone that has made that trek and id'ed a good replacement hose.)

I us NAPA .75 inch 90 degree hose from the heater core to under manifold pipe. I think the part number is 9816. I trimmed the excess to fit. I use their 90 dgree .625 inch hose for the thermostat nipple to valve and from the valve to the heater core. Also trimmed to fit.

thanks

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
