My 64 Caddy Dino is indeed back In action officially as of yesterday with hood hinges and hood installed.
I had my brother Randy stop over after work and help with the hood install. As we held either side, wife Cheryl started the bolts through the hood nut strips. My plan was to just get it on there where it would close, then take to body shop, but we actually got it on pretty staight. There will be a bit of what learned or relearned about hood adjustment in the next newsletter. It is not perfectly set but not bad at all.

Of course the hood hinges with the new Cadmium plating look fantastic, as well as the upper hood latch. As nice as I thought it looked before I can now show off all that new plating!  The night before I put about 15 miles on Dino, and last night about 10 miles with wife Cheryl and the two pooches. Cheryl will be out of town for a couple of days and see myself taking pooch cruise breaks often this weekend!

So, here are some pictures with Dino's new hood hinges and some cruise shots from last night.... as I posted on my Facebook Page --> LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!

My reservoir is a little low. Any recommendations on my purchase of refill fluid? There are likely new fluids and I’d like to buy the right product. Thanks. Continue

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
