In the Kingdom of Rattle Can Painters... there are Many Legends....

... but only one King!

And while he may have been off making those silly 60's Pooch de Ville Movies the last few weeks, he has returned to form today in his own 2018 Comeback Special!
(Tony, and a few others my get my wacked references here.. maybe not!)
Anywho... I bead blasted, primed, and painted a valve cover set, front and rear THM trans inspection pan and this balancer going to Australia as soon as the paint cures.
My Acetone dip... 20-20-20-20 methods still works like charm. Weather reached 70 and had perfect skies and the pollen and bugs have not taken over so it was near perfect outside painting weather. Here's a couple of pieces From Da King:

Hey That would make a good trivia question. What movie did the King of Nascar make a guest appearance in a King of Hip Jiggle/Car Racin/Gettin' the Girl movie?

Speedway - 1968. What do I win? Lol!

Yep, Greg wins....

Elvis was paid $850,000 plus 50% of the profits.[1]

Filming began on 26 June 1967.

Scenes were shot at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The film features guest appearances by several of the top stock-car—better known now as NASCAR—drivers of the day including Richard Petty, Buddy Baker, Cale Yarborough, Tiny Lund and more. They were shown individually with their names in the film's opening credits.

This would be the final "formula" musical film of Presley's career. His remaining films would be less musical and more adult in tone.

Steve Grayson's generosity portrayed in the film was based loosely on Elvis' real-life generosity, in which Elvis would give cars, homes, and other expensive items to Memphis Mafia members, family and friends, and even total strangers. This film is also loosely based on Colonel Tom Parker and his real life gambling habits and the money he continually siphoned from Elvis.

Congrats! You win a Nanner Nut Dog!!.. or three!!!

SEE ---Movies Elvis --ELVIS --MOVIEs--VIDEOS --it all fits together
Hes talking to you !

Enjoy Hanna's sandwiches Big Guy !

Now that's very cool
At first it went right over my head
Your talking banana peanutbutter and marshmellow Elivis sandwich --i got it
I Like the Elvis apron and photo

I thought it was your grandma's sandwich( nanner ) at first --so the post should have read

Enjoy your Nanna's sandwich ( not Hanna )

The King of Rock N Roll like fried peanut butter banana sandwiches.
The King of Rattle cans liked his own invention  and take off of it - The Nanner Nut Dog - A banana, caked with low fat peanut butter, rolled with flat bread ... hench the world famous (at least in my mind) Nanner Nut Dog.

I sure hope the wife and i get to sample some North Carolina Cuisine as per the photo on arrival in downtown Raleigh. Hmmm.... well.... :-)

You know -i know all about that Elvis sandwich but never had one
I need to maket a point of doing that

You know it just may make you -- Sing Better Than Ever --LOL !

Stuck at two red (dash) lights!

Posted by Jeff Kinzler on November 3, 2019 at 10:00pm 9 Comments

I hope someone can help solve these two electrical problems that appeared one after the other.

By way of background: The car, a '64 Eldorado has very limited use. It was at a restoration shop for 15 months until last January-  that supposedly did a bunch of wiring repairs including rebuilding the gas gauge that still hasn't worked properly, and the clock that hasn't worked, and re-soldering the broken wires in the drive door. All window and seat controls appear to be…

Dash removal

Posted by Jake Mickley on October 9, 2019 at 12:06am 9 Comments

Hello everyone,

On a 63 CDV, if a guy wanted to remove the entire dash to get all the metal painted, and do some other things behind there, how would he go about doing that?  I checked here and the shop manual, but can't find a complete guide.

As always, and help or direction is appreciated.  Thanks!

Introducing myself

Thanks for letting me join the club.  Picked up this ‘64 Coupe Deville a few months ago out of Beverly MA, the car has few stickers on it from various Cadillac clubs, didn’t know if anyone might recognize it from it’s “Glory days.” Everything seems pretty healthy except for the body and some very Mickey Mouse repairs, was wondering if anyone had any leads on…
