Always thought these were cool looking parts, often missing in the Cadillacs. I know many of you k now what this is....if you do chime in. I just found this one pulling some parts today.  I'll load it in a photo album for reference later...if I don't already have one somewhere!…

I have some serious trouble with the rear end on my car. I was driving a short distance today when it seemed to just break loose. I immediately pulled over to the side of the road, and it swayed so far that it broke the drivers side skirt off. I tried to get a look under the car and the drive shaft is hanging down at a very strange angle. Anybody ever have any similar problems? The car is VERY rusty, so I'm not ruling anything out. 

I sent in my registration for the Boston GN today and am really getting excited!  There is a ton of free stuff including the Seminars, Car Show and Reception and other cool tours such as the Historic Boston Tour, Historic Salem Witch Tour, and so much more that will satisfy us Cadillac Nuts, our wives, and the kids.  I will not have the 64 CDV on hand but…

When I detailed my engine bay last year after the engine rebuild I never went back and installed the new set of inner fender splash aprons I ordered. I've just installed the larger rear apron because it is partially held on via 3 inner fender bolts.  I think I've got the drilling the holes out slightly to 1/16" and clinching the new staples to give it the original look but man that is slow going.
