Always interesting to see what has been changed and what hasn't on these cars and what's advertised/shown and what is not. For this one a $7000 air bag system and no mention or pictures of the engine or drive train other than a mention that it drives good. Also, you gotta love the 8 track player with the single top mounted single speaker on the rear package shelf. It almost begs to ask if you are going to go to the trouble to mount one top side speaker why not two. I guess it keeps with the mono theme. :-) The car looks nice and straight from what you see and very stock except for gauges, 8 track player, trunk interior, door pull knobs, and of course the air bag suspension noted. I guess you would call this one a mostly original with a few cool mods.

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
