I went to check the fluid in the transmission on my 1963 Series 62 convertible and when I pulled on the dipstick ring the whole tube came out. I got it back in the hole, sort of, but it is loose. Anyone else have similar issue and any tips on how to get it seated back in tight? I don't have a lift or an easy way to lift the car and safely get under it.

The oil dipstick tube bolts to the passenger side exhaust manifold. Did you see a metal tab on the tube with a bolt hole it in it?? If not, it may have broken off. There is also an o-ring inside the the transmission housing where the dipstick tube is inserted. If the o-ring is bad or missing and the tube is not bolted in properly, the transmission will leak like a sieve when the car is parked. Been there, done that.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up.
