'64 DeVille Borg clock

The dash clock was not working when I bought my '64 DeVille.   I have now had a chance to go through much of the simple electrical issues and I am making headway. The clock did not run at all and it was a bit difficult to turn with the set knob. I removed the clock (Borg) and attempted to clean and oil it. The clock wire has power (as does the clock light wire (when headlights on)).

Upon "cleaning" the clock turned rather quickly with the set knob...maybe a bit too quickly.  Upon my attempt to reinstall the clock and discovered I have caused a short in the clock, as when I touch the instrument bezel to seat the clock, the hands spin rather quickly and the clock light comes on without the headlights being on (and I blew the 25 amp fuse!!!!). I feel like a complete idiot.  

In my over zealous effort to get the clock working and before I read a clock post here (which warns against using WD-40), I used WD-40......UGG! 

Is my clock repairable, and if not, does anyone have one to sell, or a referral to where I might find one, or send it out for repair?   Cosmetically the clock is in nice shape.

Gentlemen,

After watching several YouTube videos on 50-70's classic car clock videos and studying how the clock actually worked with the points, I saw the problem.  The escapement wheel gear was out of whack and thereby causing the points gear to open and close instantly (not "ticking"), flying back and forth to the points then to the stop and back. This caused the clock hands to spin rapidly as well and the fuse to burn out because the points had almost constant contact.  I don't know about the bulb issue, but after reseating the escapement wheel (I hope it remains in place), and installing the clock with bulb before replacing the fuse, then replacing the fuse everything worked!  Including the bulb only coming on when I turned on the headlights.   

I stayed in the car for about 5 minutes and the clock seems to keep time pretty well.  I'll know more in the morning.  (Of course my wife is certain that I going to burn the house down!)
