I’m almost positive this will lead to some polarizing comments, but I am curious as to everyone’s thoughts.
TL:DR
I found some wreaths and emblems that were in almost mint condition on a newer set of covers. As it turns out, they fit the same mounting holes and are identical to the emblems used on 1963/64 hubcaps. I used one of my rougher 64 covers and mounted the wreath on. Thoughts?
Long:
A few weeks ago, I attended an estate auction that had massive amounts of car parts. There weren’t many Cadillac items, but I did find some old taillights and several hubcaps from various years of Cadillac. In that batch were 4 hubcaps from the 80’s I’m being told (in another post on another group). On these caps were the emblem and wreath. I cleaned them up over the weekend and thought they would fit on the 64 covers. So I ran the speed nuts off the back of both the 80s cover and the 64 cover and sure enough, they are identical.
Now, I have a Fleetwood. In 64, as I am sure you know, the wreath was used in place of the ‘V’ for Fleetwoods and Eldorados. Being that everywhere else on the car, a wreath is present, I thought it odd the wheel covers lacked the wreath. So, I made a template and sacrificed *shrieks* one of my rougher 64 covers to see how it looks. Well, what do we think? Process was pretty easy, drill a few holes and swapped the wreath and emblem over.
Personally, I think I’ll be doing this to my other covers as it then matches everything else on the car. I don’t normally believe in these types of modifications, but I think this is a good one! Not sure anyone would notice expect for any of us who know.
I think I may have this set polished and the black removed and just keep it polished and use my custom covers for non judged events and keep my good set that I daily for judged events. Just my two cents

Logan,
You did a great job with the hubcaps - I think they look great. They would look great on my 64.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
