I would like to say thanks to everyone that commented on my 63 CDV. I have owned this car since June of 2014. It took me 42 years but I am the proud owner of a Cadillac! I found it on Craigslist in Los Angeles CA! It was originally from Las Vegas and through an old title I located the second owner, which was the niece of the first owner. The first owner bought the car new in '63. The niece learned to drive in the 63!. The first owner passed in 1994 and the niece inherited it in 1995. She had the car repainted, the interior redone and some mechanical items addressed. I have spent the last 4 years undoing things that were done wrong or need to be redone. I still have a lot that want to do but like the ole saying goes, Rome was not built in a day. I am currently replacing the heads (thanks Jason and Russ!). I apologize for not responding to everyone's kind words and suggestions almost 2 weeks ago. I am not very social media savvy so after I post something I tend to forget until a later time. Bear with me folks, I still own a flip phone! Again, Thanks for everything. John

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
