Thanks to Jason making a 900 mile trip thru Illinois, I am moving forward with pulling the trans on my Fleetwood and replacing it with the one Jason is bringing for me!
That being said, I’ve already been in contact with Fatsco to order some of the other seals I’ll need. Fatsco did NOT have the trans mounts however.
Since the mounts will be accessible while the trans is out of the car, might as well replace on those. Where would be a reputable source for these mounts?
Further, how do I ensure everything is lined up properly? Are there shims needed as well? Is there a guide that I should follow?
As always, thanks for the help!

You can get the rear mount at CaddyDaddy.com It is a better mount than the stock one. Same shape and size, but engineered better so it wont collapse like the originals.
The trans has guide pins and will self align to the engine. The rear will almost take care of itself, just have the mount bolts centered in the bolt holes.
Would engine mounts be more accessible during this operation as well?

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
