I've been driving my 64 Coupe DeVille more than the 02 Escalade back and forth to work the past few weeks as the temps have been absolutely perfect here in North Carolina. I usually try to leave for work by 6:30am when it is still dark and nice and cool brisk low 60's ..sometimes upper 50's temps and have just been enjoying the cruise back and forth.
I also love my music and it definitely gets me in the spirit of driving the car. For much of my drive to work today Aerosmith's 'Back…

I've had a newer aftermarket power brake booster and master cylinder in my 64 Coupe DeVille the past few years and it has very few miles (and on the way to good home now), and has been a great brake setup, but as I continue to restore my car to an "Original Look" this was one of the areas I wanted to return to original in appearance. It is also one of the areas I would get dinged a point or two when I take the car to the Grand National for Judging, and I just…

I’m struggling with my TV rod adjustment. I’ve been trying to adjust it as per shop manual, but it’s still not OK. When cold, it shifts smoothly through all four gears, when hot, it hesitates (lots…Continue

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
