Been busy parting out the 63 CDV from Rob in Florida, but had Mark Nichols from Georgia stop buy for some rims and tires, and later in the day had Fred Peyerl stop by for a transmission. It is always cool to have our chapter and website members stop by and talk Cadillac.
I met Fred's wife and his "large" poodle. He told me th check out his Facebook page and love the picture of him and their large pooch in their convertible. Here is a picture from his FB page:…

Trying to work on the clock out of my 64. When I put a charge to it, the contact points chatter back and forth, sounding like a doorbell buzzer. I don't see the gears moving and the points never snap back. Has anyone experienced this? Ted

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
