Can anyone advise me about my carpet.  I have a 64 CDV with midnight blue carpet.  It appears to be original and when I look at suppliers carpet kits they are a loop pile.  My appearently original carpet looks more like a plush type pile.  Can anyone tell me what the correct carpet should be, and any recommendations of a good suppier for carpet kits  Thanks Kevin in Tampa

I have a really cool cover picture and another Cadillac to spotlight in the February newsletter which I hope to have out by Feb 24th.  As you can see, I am evolving the newsletter slowly but surely an  as of the January newsletter have adopted a cover layout that centers around a spotlighted member Cadillac. I've run a classified ad in Hemmings Motor News for my side parts business (Classic Cadillac Parts) since the late 1990's. and it is just getting harder and harder to justify the annual fees.

I have a very simple 4 line ad (pg 268 in March 2013 Hemmings) and the only thing I add is the bold face. No borders, no yellow background, no pictures, and its $204 for a year. I only get 10cents off a line as a print subscriber but no other discounts for paying by the year, etc.

OK so six months ago when the car hit the road it had lifter noise. added some Nulon lifter free and no more noise.  now done 2500 km and there is a hint of some lifter noise again.

where is the best place to source new lifters and any tricks in replacing them?
