Quick question.
On the drivers side on the front near the rad is a small steel box near wires going to the headlights, parking lights etc. It is warm all the time and clicking- even with the engine off and keys out. It looks like a transformer to me. Any ideas what is going on here?

That's the horn relay. If in doubt replace it. I have 2 dozen + good used ones or a couple of new ones in the box (Made in USA) either for $10 and can ship in USA for $6 for a total of $16. If interested shoot me an email to jasonedge@nc.rr.com

Horn relay might be it, but why is it warm and clicking with car off? The horn does work. Thanks for your time.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
