Hi Charles! Thanks for the head ups about Lisa A. They have been deleted and marked as a spammer. We had one other get thru a while back and I increased the # of questions for joining. We do encourage the ladies to join but for the right reasons, their passion for all things 1963 & 1964 Cadillac! Anyway, it is good to have you posting here and helping keeping the site on track. If anyone else gets this type of spamming from our site let me know. You all would be surprised at how many spamming requests I have. Most don't take the time to answer the sign up questions, much less provide reasonable answers.
Donnie, feel free to post a message about your car on the Message Board. I would start a new message as "FOR SALE - PARTS CAR - ......." and give details. If the entire car was for sale and you were closer to me I would be interested if the price is right.
My Cadillac only has 68,000 miles on it and has a beautiful white leather interior. I found it in LosAngelos and my brother drove it to his house in SanDiego. He keeps sending pictures of him driving it and it is driving me crazy! He sais the tranny is shifting funky so I hoping a fluid change and a little tweaking of the TV rod corrects the issues.
You can post as many as you like. --> Click Photo's, Click +Add, find pics on your PC and upload. Once uploaded you can assign an album title and add a tag to help organize and find later.
For parts for sale I have easily over 100,000 parts from 40 parts cars. For common items I will usually have plenty, for hard to find item I have a back log and keep a running "Needs List" (over 500 entries long at this point) and will be glad to add items I don't have. Using a list provide first come first service to those asking first. Several items off the current 64B parts car have went out to members on the list dating back to 2009 and 2010. Send me an email to jasonedge@nc.rr.com and list the specific body year, body style and description to ID parts.
Thanks Jason. Looking forward to getting back to work on my car.
What a wealth of information available here. Making progress sorting out all the web and facebook sites..May need help from grand kids!

Thanks for the update Chris. I will bump down to next person on the list and will check our your dash. The latest parts car is an eclectic mix. Of course first dibs goes to a a Gold Coupe DeVille located in Garner, NC! :-)
Hi Jason, I finally found one a few months back. Those things are damn difficult to find. Took about 6 years to find a replacement sensor grill. I went ahead and redyed the faded dash and installed the new sensor already. You can check it out in my pictures. The parts car that you brought in looks great. I'm sure there are some parts on that car that are in better shape than the ones on my car so I may be sending you another message soon.
I know Kanter (www.kanter.com) and other big national parts suppliers such as USA Parts (www.usapartssupply.com) listed in our Parts Suppliers page will have them. I sell parts on the side and can pick up the AutoZone one listed above and sell for $20 + s/h to make a bit for my time and effort. Email me at jasonedge@nc.rr.com if you wanted to go that route.
Cliff, Rubber the right way or Steele Rubber are good sources. I know Steele Rubber has a very good catalog with illustrations. Be sure and download their catalog. Both are listed on our Parts Suppliers page.
For AC/Heat troubleshooting Cadillac Tim (Tim Groves) puts out an excellent Diagnostics manual. You will also find him listed in the Parts Suppliers page. The $49 for the manual is money well spent. Of course a shop manual is the #1 item you want to have in your hand.
On the choke, the threaded connector, is for the choke tube that goes from choke, to intake choke tube on passenger outside of intake. You should have a hole there that the tube inserts into.
Nothing right now frank. Send me an email to jasonedge@nc.rr.com with year, body style, color preference, and if you need a console and will ad you to my "needs list". I've brought 4 sets in over the years (3 for coupes and 1 for sedans) and they are usually sold by the time I get them (and the mounting brackets) out of the car. D
Marty, Let me know the hotel and days you are staying and will add that to our Roster information at www.2013GN.6364cadillac.com Look forward to seeing you and Tori in Boston!
Hi MIke, Yeah, I think I joined the old MSN site around 2000 when there was less than 100 members, then later created the Multiply hosted site when MSN shut down, then moved the 63/64 site here to the Ning hosted site when MSN shut down last year. Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

Thanks, Don. Hope you and your family had a good one, too!

Most auto parts stores here stock them but not sure which ones will ship to the UK. AutoZone around the corner from me sells them for $10.49. Here is there link: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/1964-Cadillac-Deville/Brake-Hose-Front/_/N-ixdh5Z8knp9?filterByKeyWord=brake++hose&fromString=search
