Does anyone know the length of the webbing of the center front seat belt? Or can anyone measure it? I got a knuckle and have the correct webbing material.

Christian,
Jason had posted this in the help section:

And this:

Although no dimension is given for a front center belt, It seems likely to me that it would be the same as the other front belts without a retractor. Unfortunately that dimension is not given here.
I do have a pair of non-retracting belts that I believe came original in my '63 convertible. I can measure those for you if you want.
Thank you Jason. If you would measure the center webbing this would be great. I have the seat belt installation instructions too, but without any dimensions.
I have the factory belts in mine, I can measure it late on today.
I always run with the arm rest down, and I have to be honest, I don't recall a centre belt in the Fleetwood.
That would be great! In Germany we need seat belts at the front center seating position to have the permission transporting 3 persons on the front bench if the outer positions already have seat belts.
These measurements are very close to the ones Jason has for the retracting belts in the help section.
Perfect! Thank you so much!
Yes you are right if you are an adult :) Kids until 12 have to buckled up, no matter what year the car was build. It's a big problem with cars, which never had seat belts. You always need a special inspection if you add seat belts in that kind of car. That was the reason I added seat belts. My boys are 4 and 7 now.
If you don't have seat belts, the car always will be registered with 5 seats. If you have seat belts on all 6 positions, you can add the 6th passenger in your papers. Wired but that's the law in Germany ;)
Yes, that's right, too. Kids until 1,5 meter or 12 years always needs a child seat. But that doesn't have anything to do with a classic car. It's the law anyway :)
Oh man, ripped off.
I went out to measure my front centre (Oz Spelling) belts and the mighty Fleetwood doesn't have one. :-(

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
