I have an all leather front bench seat in my '64 DeVille that I am about to redo. That includes replacing the foam and repainting the side moldings on the sides of the seats. I want to keep it original and use real leather. I was quoted $1500 just to do the seat, but that seems a bit high. What is a reasonable price to pay for this job? Thanks,
Chris

I went to the annual Lincoln show in Salado TX on Saturday. Yes, I have friends on the dark side. LOL. I brought my 63 CDV of course. There was also a pristine 67 Eldo, & a 89 Allante in the spectator lot so Cadillac was well represented. On the way home we stopped at Hardtails Bar & Grill in Georgetown TX http://www.hardtailsbarandgrill.com/index.html and there crashing through the wall is a full sized front end from a 64…

I had a light bulb moment yesterday and shortened our parts suppliers web name from
www.partssuppliers.6364cadillac.com to simply www.parts.6364cadillac.com
If looking for our "in house" parts suppliers including yours truly or the many other vents just remember www.parts.6364cadillac.com

Thought I would share the following with everyone...after a season of showing my '64 I started looking around to get a show sign made. I found the following site and had a custom sign made. I provided a number of photos that I had taken and the rest was up to the designer.

The guy was quite pleased with the outcome and let me know that he also sold other items and took…

Quick question: Do we all get wind noise through the closed vent windows at highway speed? I do. The rubber has been replaced. I have heard from a couple of friends and fellow car guys that that's just the way vent windows are. If there are any of us out there old enough to remember if the vent windows were loud when the cars were new that would be helpful. I have tried adjusting them here & there but they are far from silent at cruising speed.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
