window regulators

For years my winds have seemed to be looser and less accurate than most modern windows.  I am thinking the soft parts are worn.  Has anybody gone through thier window regulators and felts to restore the window "open close" function??Where did you get the parts?  I guess many may be GM generic, and part numbers?See More

Correct whitewalls

I just replaced my tires from Diamondback (I had bad results in the past from Coker).  It was the second time, due to the age of the tires.  About 18 years ago Diamondback made custom whitewalls based upon the original spare tire in my car.  They are perfect and run great—and they are radials.  I called them up, and they were able to look up my original order.  I was able to re-order with ease.  Highly recommend them.  Tell them you want to use my old orders as a guide.See More

My mechanic has sourced a choke housing and new internals.  As you might expect, the choke tube is damaged and or clogged.  My options are to either replace the choke tube, or my mechanic recommends…Continue

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
