Hi Everyone, I want to remove my ignition lock assy and have the cylinders corrected to the doors. I have read the manual and it says insert a paper clip (0.035"dia) in the release hole and turn the key to the left.

Sounds easy but I have 2 release holes and I am having trouble sticking paper clips and turning the key at the same time. So I know the lock assy is not per the manual but it is a GM key. Any suggestions..its one of those simple things that get you chesed after about 45…

Hey guys, whats the difference in a part called a reproduction and  called a replacement?  I'm looking at door jamb switches and the reproduction costs more than the replacement.  It sounds like a reproduction is not made by the OEM but a replacemnt sounds like not the original but something that will work..any thoughts?
