After purchasing my '63 convertible and driving it occasionally for a year I decided that I would replace my leased 2001 DTS with a 1970 Eldorado, which has now been my daily driver for 9 years. I repainted it to look just like the Eldorado in the 1970 Cadillac brochure. It is Cinnamon with a dark brown vinyl roof. I think it is prettier than my '63.

When a certain number of replies are posted on a Message Blog or other thread it is added to another page and if you are unfamilar with how this works, might wonder what happened to your reply.
If you scroll down to the bottom of a post that is more than one page long you will see page selection options at bottom left and bottom right. On bottom left, you can click Next to go to next page, or click on the specific page #, or enter the the page number and go to it over on the lower…

Our Carolina Region Newsletter Editor Travis Dowell turned the spotlight on himself (very deservedly I might add) and discussed some of his estimated 50 Cadillacs in the last newsletter. That got me to thinking it might be fun to list Cadillacs other than 63's and 64's that we have owned or still own. It gives someone insight into someone else's association with the Cadillac Brand.
Here is my list:
1982 Coupe DeVille - Silver - sold years ago…

While we have our main logo with the 63 & 64 front ends, we also have our alternate wreath logo that came about last year when we were designing something for the chest of our club shirts. This past weekend I revised it to give it a gold ring and and gold wreath using the same colors in the CLC logo and have to say I'm very pleased with it.
I've loaded these logo's separately to the website and have posted them below. You will definitely see these more in the future:…

I've been working on the header section wanting to pull in the latest CLC log, and create a similar cirucular logo outlined in gold for the chapter. I also wanted to include our formal logo in the center with our web address. While I liked including the featured caddy of the month it didn't seem as professional as I wanted it. What I can do is put the featured car below the main header. That would make for a larger overall header meaning you would need to scroll down more to get to the…

My compressor seized up today. Made some great smoke on the highway. Do they reproduce these. I'm looking for something original, or at least close to it.

Hello Everyone, other than putting batteries in a flashlight my electric background stinks. I have a 12v 45rpm record player I want to mount to the bottom of the dash above the transmission hump. I can do that . The speakers are not an issue since the player sends out a signal on 1600 am. I can attach the ground wire to the dash. The power wire is to be hooked to the postive side of the fuse box. It has a 5amp fuse on it. I figure I could stick the wire with connector into a clip holding…

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
