my 64 has the electric operated vent windows .. now I can always here a noise when I actuate
the switch to open but they seem to be very touchy at times and open when they are ready.
whats stopping them from opening even though there is a noise and then they do eventually

Hi Folks! This is the kind of thing people usually ask me but I'm a little stumped and need some help. Years ago when I replaced the front speaker in my 63 Sixty Special, I didn't scribe the mounting properly. As such, the speaker has never been aligned to the dash pad just right and this causes a little rattle. Does anyone know how to get a proper fit (if you messed up and didn't mark?). Thanks!... Joe

Years before there was an Eastern NC CLC Region I had joined the Carolina CLC Region which is based in Charlotte and the western part of North Carolina. Well, I was a member on paper only as I never made it out to any meet-ups. In 2006 the Eastern NC CLC Region was formed and I was at the very first meet-up at McCalls Restaurant in Clayton, NC on Feb 25, 2006 and have been active off and on in our own Raleigh and Eastern NC based region.
With an increased desire to participate in…

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
