I ordered a 2' x 4' sheet of masticated rubber to cut a piece for the rubber that goes behind the grill on right side in front of the battery, and have misplaced the used piece I had set aside. Does anyone have the measurements and or pictures. I can guess at the size but would rather cut it the right size the first time.
This is often gone and have only seen in nice condition on a couple of parts cars.

I think I will sleep well Saturday Night . I will be pulling out between 4am and 5am with the Escalade and car hauler to get to Morganton, NC, toward the Western part of our state by 8am Saturday to pick up parts car #40, then turn right around and meet-up with the Carolina and Eastern North Carolina's first joint meet-up in Burlington, NC, then make the trip back home1 All in all I will be on the road 10 to 12 hrs! It's been a while since I pulled in my last parts car, and always fun to…

Hello all. I installed my reconditioned Carter carb yesterday and forgot to connect the wire going to the electronic choke. Well, it went to ground and fried pretty bad. The insulation melted and I can't tell if the wire providing the juice is red or pink. I have to change out the wire and all fried connection but I could not find the wire on the other side of the firewall. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.…

I saw a post here recently on how to restraighten the rocker covers which can flex under the rocker cover bolts. I have an oil leak at the back of the passenger rocker cover so assume I need to investigate with rocker covers off. Jason you mentioned how to straighten out the rocker covers. Can you revise that please?

Do I need the original spacer with the new Edelbrock 1406?
I did not plug up the intake holes in the "gutter" will that be an issue with the new carb?
Last question, is the vacuum advance for the distributor a full time vacuum or is it a part time vacuum?
Thank you everyone for your time

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
