I wanted to take something to the Grand National to auction off in support of the Cadillac LaSalle Club Museum and Research Center Fundraising, and thought perhaps some of my Elvis Wine Collection might be something fun that combines two of my passions.
If you are going to the Grand National be sure and support me and others in placing your bids during the Reception Auction.
Also, be…

About a year and a half back, I replaced the third member in my 63. At that time, I also had new wheel bearings pressed onto the axles. Right out of the box, the right bearing leaked like a sieve, the parts house replaced it under warranty. Unfortunately, I had to pay again to get it pressed on, but at least the bearing was replaced.
Yesterday, I was under the car flushing the brake fluid and noticed the backing plate on the right rear wheel at the bottom, was damp with oil at…

I finally was able to get some decent pictures of my 64 Eldorado and post them. Between work and the weather I have not been able to get much done to the car. I think I pretty much described it in earlier blogs but to cover things quickly the car is complete and has exceptionally nice trim. The body is nice and straight except the hood and I have a hood for it. Interior is all complete, has a nice dash pad, good glass and all the convertible parts are good including the header. The conv…

I have been out of the M, L and XL chapter shirts for a while but have just put in an order so I will have a good selection to take with us to the Grand National in Boston.
These are top quality "Gildan Ultra Cotton" pre shrunk shirts. The color is ash grey which will go great with just about anything color pants or jacket, especially a dark jacket or dark pants.…

We celebrated our 1963 Coupe Deville's 50th birthday by purchasing a 2013 DTX. 1963 was purchased in July 1963, 2013 in July 2013. Exactly 50 years difference to the month. Previous photos I posted are of the two cars together.

Hey! I’ve seen the 63/64 power booster and master cylinder combination has been covered very clearly. I’m in the process of replacing mine. I was hoping someone could give me insight on a specific…Continue

I meant to make this a priority over the winter and didn't get that far. I've tried to source all the parts individually, but that is a daunting task. Partly because I don't want to miss any…Continue

Hello, possibly looking a neutral safety switch for a 1964 Deville with the TH-400 and tilt steering. Also, possibly looking for an oil filter housing assembly for a 1964 429 motor. Starting to get…Continue

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
