Jason, thanks for the new "help topics" link excellent addition and very helpful way to find tech info for our cars. Also have you thought about a link for members that want to sell or buy Cadillac items? I have parts from several 64s to sell but I do not consider myself an official Cadillac 'parts supplier' as the link above would indicate. Any thoughts on this? And again thanks Jason for all your shared knowledge and time consuming work

On Thursday, Sept 27 I will be heading down I-95 through NC, SC, and Florida, and across I-4 past Orlando to Winter Haven to pick up a a 63 Coupe Deville Parts car. The plan is to return on Saturday Sept 29.
As most of you that have dealt with me know, I usually do not deliver large parts and its up to you to "come and get" or to arrange with a shipper.
If you need a hood, windshield,…

I have a question, I had my tranny rebuilt and I was expecting a price in the neighborhood of maybe $600-$700 max, I just got the actual bill at $1600.00. I am a little concerned, is that what it cost to rebuild one of these tranmissions or is this way over.
He did say he had to replace two clutches, but I am having a challenge swallowing that price.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just posted some pictures from yesterday's Clayton Harvest Festival and Car Show in this photo album: https://6364cadillac.ning.com/photo/albums/clayton-harvest-festival-sept-15-2012
We had perfect weather and a great turnout with 140 cars...even a few Cadillacs. I will load pictures of other cars on my Facebook Page in a bit.

After a two year hiatus, I will be selling at Hershey this year. I will have Cadillac parts and literature only. I will have some 63-64 stuff. If you need something in particular, and I have it, I can bring it with me. I will be at spots RWB 27-28. Thanx Frank

hi all
i need an intake manifold it anyone can advise if they know of one. also I have sourced one here in Australia but it appears to be off a 1960 engine. I have been told 3 stories - one that it will bolt in - one that it will need an extra gasket and one that it wont fit. anyone have any experience fitting older intake manifolds to 64 engines>?

Along the painted metal portion above the grill there are small rubber type pieces along the length of the grill that I'm assuming are to fit against the hood. Does anyone know where to find those pieces I have one that is missing and a couple that appear broken or torn. I've been running into some pretty tough judges at shows.

This may have been answered already so I apologize if I am repeating. Were we able to save the information from our old blogs? Over the years I would read my emails from the "What You've Missed" and then save those topics that were helpful for me. It looks like all those emails are now trash.
Also, is there a way to create a daily email that summarizes the recent blogs like WYM? Thanks everybody!

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks

My son, unbeknownst to me, had all three of the horns on our 1963 Eldorado completely restored. We had recently added the Eldorado trumpet horn to the two standard horns and the sound was not very good... we had heard good ones so we knew something was not right... but there was not much we could do to get better sound from the 3 horns.
There is a restoration service called The Horn Works who my son…
