I was going through filing old Self Starters and have extras for May 1997 to Nov/Dec 1998 --> 18 in all. They have great old articles, and cool ads on the back. I can ship priority mail in US for $6 for a total of $16. If interested email me at jasonedge@nc.rr.com. First come first serve.

Hi, new member here. I have a 1965 Cadillac limousine which is actually a 1964 body style carry-over. My question is: Was the 1964 body style placed on a 1965 commercial chassis? I'm wondering, because should I purchase a 1964 Service Manual or a 1965 Service Manual (or is there no differences between the two years)? Thanks. Jim from Worcester, MA

I have an all leather front bench seat in my '64 DeVille that I am about to redo. That includes replacing the foam and repainting the side moldings on the sides of the seats. I want to keep it original and use real leather. I was quoted $1500 just to do the seat, but that seems a bit high. What is a reasonable price to pay for this job? Thanks,
Chris

I went to the annual Lincoln show in Salado TX on Saturday. Yes, I have friends on the dark side. LOL. I brought my 63 CDV of course. There was also a pristine 67 Eldo, & a 89 Allante in the spectator lot so Cadillac was well represented. On the way home we stopped at Hardtails Bar & Grill in Georgetown TX http://www.hardtailsbarandgrill.com/index.html and there crashing through the wall is a full sized front end from a 64…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
