Saturday was a bad day.
The wife and I was returning home from a local cruise when ol Blue started reving up going down the interstate. Yep, something gave out on the old tranny. The underside of the car is soaked with tranny fluid along with the rear of the car. It lost it fast, by the time I got to the exit, there was no movement. Pulled the dipstick, empty.
I thought maybe one of the rubber hoses in the cooling lines gave out but I can't see anything wrong with them. Of…

Hi guys,I purchased what I thought was a complete exhaust system from Classic Exhaust 3 or 4 years ago and put it in the garage without opening the box when it arrived and just now getting to it and found that there is no resonator. My question is what is the purpose of the resonator and do I really need it.

If you feel the need to drop the F-Bomb or other offensive language to ask a question, do not post here. Helping for assistance shouldn't require gutter talk. If it happens once, it will be removed. If it happens twice, it will be removed and you will be removed as a member.

Just wondering if anyone has had their 63 or 64 Cadillac Bumpers re-chromed? What should I expect to pay for show quality? I would like to have a ball park price, as I will get several estimates. Mine have dents, but luckily no rust. I realize rust repair and welding would add to the cost. Thanks for any input.

Just a quick question about the Heater Assembly. I have been following the manual, but still have a question. I have the glove box removed, the bowden cables taken off, and the section under the hood removed. I am having difficulty in seeing where the Heater assembly is attached. Once this is taken down, I will have access to the old core. Any info or pics on this would be much appreciated.

Needing to know factory correct spark plug for 1963 Cadillac. I assume it is either the AC-44 or AC-45 spark plug with the green rings but can someone let me know if this is correct and if so which one? Thanks, Doug

I was reading the recent article in Car an Driver on the 2016 Cadillac CTS. It speaks about Cadillac trying to redefine itself and be NON-TRADITIONAL in an attempt to distance itself from being" a purveyor of V-8–powered barges." It went on to say that they hope the CT6 will" further bury Cadillac’s old-school image in another area: its engine lineup. At least for the moment, there’s no V-8 to be found anywhere on the spec sheet". EXCUSE ME- but what do they think made Cadillac THE…

Well, we woke up to a beautiful, warm day for this time of year here in NE Ks. yesterday. The wife said it would be " a good day to test the Caddie".
This is in prep for a little adventure we're planning to take the end of March first part of April. We're going to drive the Ks, Ok. and maybe Texas stretch of Route 66. What better way of doing it than in a '63 Sedan DeVille.
I said what the h..., temp in the 40's-50's, sunshine, threw a few tools in the trunk and headed…

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
